2014-2015 La Liga Predictions: Week 13 (Part 5)

Valencia vs. Barcelona
Match Date: 30 November 2014 (local time)
Venue: Mestalla
Â
Valencia
Valencia’s narrow defeat to the Levante increases the pressure to secure a win against Barcelona. The club currently sits in the 4th spot of the league table, but this doesn’t mean that they’ll be keeping it for a long time after their encounter with the La Liga giant.
Realistically speaking, the best result that the squad can pull off is a draw. Yet, it seems that even this outcome might prove to be a difficult one.
Barcelona
With Lionel Messi being hailed as La Liga and Champions League’s top scorer, it will be such a shame if Barcelona will drop a point in its upcoming match. The certified online betting favorite has no reasons not to excel knowing that they boast a solid form and of course, the best football player in the world.
Prediction
Valencia 1-4 Barcelona
Almeria vs. Rayo Vallecano
Match Date: 01 December 2014 (local time)
Venue: Estadio Mediterraneo
Â
Almeria
Almeria can consider itself lucky after forcing a scoreless stalemate against Granada. They were actually compelled to pull off such performance if they couldn’t snatch a win. Otherwise, they will immediately fall into the relegation zone.
But they need to replicate such performance or better yet, secure a win in their next game. They’re hardly holding on to the 16th spot and one wrong move, can blow all their chances away.
Rayo Vallecano
Rayo Vallecano’s narrow win against Celta Vigo propelled them to the 11th spot of the table and they’ll be using such feat to collect another round of three (3) points when they go against Almeria. Rayo Vallecano, however, should be extra careful since Almeria will probably exploit its home court advantage over them.
Prediction
Almeria 1-2 Rayo Vallecano
