2014-2015 La Liga Predictions: Week 13 (Part 4)

Sevilla-Week 13

Espanyol vs. Levante

Match Date: 29 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Estadi Cornella-El Prat

Certainly, a 3-1 loss will not generate feelings of accomplishment and satisfaction. This is most especially true if your club struggles to ensure a strong finish. This is what Espanyol’s head honcho, Sergio Gonzalez felt when his side stumbled against Athletic Bilbao.

Gonzalez stressed that his team failed to show grit and competitiveness, which caused them to miss the three (3) important points. It is therefore, understandable why the club slipped to the 14th spot of the league table. The said loss also marked the club’s 5th winless match.

Levante will be taking all the positives in its victory against the football betting favorite, Valencia. The squad was impressive in protecting its lead as well as in exploiting scoring opportunities to clinch the necessary points and improve their rank the league table.

Espanyol 1-2 Levante

Sevilla-Week 13

Sevilla vs. Granada

Match Date: 30 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan

Sevilla will need to move forward from its 5-1 loss to Barcelona. Despite the defeat, the squad’s form remains intact and it will be illogical to collect more losses just because of a torn morale and wounded ego.

Sevilla has been winless three (3) of its last six (6) matches and the upcoming match is an opportunity that they shouldn’t waste.  Securing three (3) points out of the said encounter is a great way to seek redemption and continue their strong campaign.

Granada’s scoreless stalemate with Almeria made them winless in their last 6 matches. Needless to say, such frustrating dilemma has also caused them to slip and struggle in the league table.

Considering this aspect at hand, Granada is compelled to win their next battle. But they’ll have to do it without the help of Ruben Rochina, who will be sidelined due to a torn muscle. Rochina is one of the squad’s key players and his absence is deemed to affect the club’s performance.

Sevilla 3-0 Granada
