Sevilla vs. Levante

Match Date: 09 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan

Sevilla succumbed to its 2nd loss this season when it went against the struggling Athletic Bilbao last week. The host snatched a narrow 1-0 victory, much to the disappointment of Sevilla’s manager, Unai Emery.

The implications of the said loss are quite costly. First, it prevented their rise to the top and lastly, the loss may affect its performance in the Europa League.

Nevertheless, despite the said loss, Emery stressed that the team will ensure that last week’s disappointment will be nothing but plain, temporary.

Levante will be taking the positives from the win that it snatched against Almeria. It was the club’s 2nd victory and it also salvaged them from staying further in the relegation zone.

Lucas Alcaraz admitted that there is a high possibility for the club to experience a survival struggle throughout the season, but the recent win could very much aid them in lessening the damage of their current situation.
