2014-2015 La Liga Predictions: Week 11 (Part 3)

Barcelona- Week 11

Almeria vs. Barcelona

Match Date: 08 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Estadio Mediterraneo

Francisco Rodriguez blamed the club’s school boy errors for experiencing defeat in Levante’s hands. The squad’s head honcho was apparently disappointed in missing the chance to move up in the La Liga hierarchy.

What was even more disappointing was the fact that the loss was their 3rd consecutive defeat in its last six (6) matches.

Although Almeria can capitalize on its home court advantage, this may not be enough to beat the perennial favorite of sports betting sites, Barcelona.

Evidently, Barcelona will put behind the struggles it went through during El Clasico and the Celta Vigo defeat to make a great comeback in the title race.

The consecutive losses experienced by the celebrated club resulted to its drop in the 4th spot of the La Liga table.

Despite the disappointing result, Barcelona will probably bank on its most recent achievement to gain motivation. The club just qualified in the next stage of the Champions League competition.

Delivering a brace, Lionel Messi led the squad’s victory and also equaled Raul’s record of seventy-one (71) goals.

Almeria 1-4 Barcelona

Barcelona- Week 11

Cordoba vs. Deportivo La Coruna

Match Date: 07 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Nuevo Arcangel

Struggling at the rock bottom pit of the league table, Cordoba suffered another bout of defeat that could immediately tagged them as relegation favorites.

Pitted against the current title holder, Atletico Madrid, the newly-promoted club could only deliver two (2) goals against Atletico’s four (4).

Cordoba has not won a single match since the season started and thrives through draws. Yet, despite the lackluster performance, its head honcho, Miroslav Djukic was satisfied with the efforts shown by the club.

Deportivo La Coruna

Deportivo will definitely grab the opportunity to score three (3) points and veer away from the relegation zone when they go against Cordoba. The squad is one of the newly-promoted squads in the Primera Division, which are trying to keep  its top-flight league status.

Deportivo has only won twice in all of its ten (10) matches and hopefully, they get their 3rd victory in the upcoming match.

Cordoba 2-0 Deportivo La Coruna
