Two straight wins from their most recent La Liga meetings have produced enough points to cover up for their dull displays in their earlier battles. These helped them reduce their goal difference to -1 and improve their rank to the eighth spot. This is their second best post this season, so far, since they ranked seventh during their season debut.
Three of Rayoâs last four matches concluded in gorgeous results, two of which were spectacular clean sheets. Their battle against current league leaders Barcelona, however, hindered them from producing four straight matches without a defeat. They conceded two goals and scored zero, though it was not that malignant to knock them off the top half of La Liga standings.
Online betting tip: Malaga will narrowly triumph over Rayo Vallecano.

Espanyol vs. Deportivo La Coruña
Match Date: 27 October 2014 (local)
Match Venue: Estadi Cornella-El Prat
In the last season that both Espanyol and Depor have participated in, their two-legged matches ended with equal points for the two sides. They each won at home with two goals scored and zero conceded. By the end of the season, however, Espanyol remained in the league while Depor were relegated to the second division. In the current season, the home squad seem to be the stronger side, still. They rank four spots higher than their visitors, although they each have two wins under their belts.
Espanyolâs ability to create chances will be their best key against Depor, although they must pay equal attention to their defense as they are quite clumsy at conceding goals. The guests, on the other hand, might take advantage of their very strong skills at shooting from direct free kicks to earn points. They must, however, be more cautious about fouling as it will drag them down to the red zone.
Football betting tip: Espanyol could dominate this meeting, but Depor will go home with at least one goal.
