2014-2015 Serie A Predictions: Week 15 (Part 4)

Napoli- Week 15

Udinese vs. Hellas Verona

Match Date: 14 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Stadio Friuli

An inspired Udinese welcomes Hellas Verona in an attempt to continue its winning ways. Meanwhile, the visitors will be taking such opportunity to show some improvements.

Udinese ended its 5-match losing streak with class via nailing a narrow win against Inter. The club had a late rally, but all their efforts did not go into waste as they snatched the 3 points, Udinese is now on the 8th spot of the league table and is keen on continuing its 9-match unbeaten run at Stadio Friuli.

Udinese’s strength at home bothers Hellas Verona. Winless in its last 6 matches, the club is on the verge of experiencing an early survival struggle. Its 3 consecutive losses could readily affect their morale, unless they’ve finally decided to move on.

Expect the host to impress and feature in front of its own crowd as Hellas Verona tries to score at least a point prior to returning home.

Udinese 2-1 Hellas Verona

Napoli- Week 15

AC Milan vs. Napoli

Match Date: 14 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Stadio Giuseppe Meazza

It’s a battle between Serie A’s elites. For the Rossoneris and the Partenopeis, the match opens the road to redemption—an opportunity to bring back or return to their glorious days. AC Milan and Napoli are certified heavy favorites of sports betting sites, thus, it will be such a shame to witness a boring and lackluster performance between the two. One can only expect a top-class display from these high quality clubs.

AC Milan just lost to Genoa recently. For so many years, the former has been dominating every encounter that they had against Genoa. But last week was different. The Rossoneris were outlasted. The disappointment was simply too much to bear that even Adriano Galliani was forced to have short talk with the lads at the dugout.

But the host is not the only one suffering such dilemma. Even Napoli cries out of frustration due to their unimpressive performance. They were the favorite over Empoli. Yet, the minnow has managed to put a stop to their good run. It was their 3rd consecutive draw and although they maintained a clean slate, the large number of matches ending in a stalemate has readily pushed them downward.

In their last 6 meetings, AC Milan has never won a match against Napoli and the latter knows this. It will not be surprising to see them try to dominate the encounter, but with AC Milan’s desperation to grab 3 points, it is less likely for the match to end in an even steven finish. In this case, it is therefore evident that the staras currently favor Napoli.

AC Milan 1-2 Napoli
