2014-2015 Bundesliga Predictions: Week 14 (Part 3)

Bayern Munchen - Week 14

Bayern Munich vs. Bayer Leverkusen

Match Date: 06 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Allianz Arena

Bayern Munich

A disappointing loss to another sports betting favorite, Manchester City barely prevented the Bavarian from dominating the top-flight league. Flying high in the number one spot, Bayern Munich hasn’t lose a match. Draws, were the worst results that they have ever come up with.

On a closer look, it doesn’t really matter if Bayern stumbles. The team has a 7-point lead against its closest rival, Wolfsburg and somehow, this ensures their safety.

However, Bayern has a winning tradition. And apparently, there’s no big or small match for the club. The Bavarians will remain fierce and ruthless when they welcome Bayer Leverkusen. It is the winning tradition that automatically compels them to snatch the three (3) points. And given the chance to impress in front of their own crowd, an impressive performance is the only thing that you can expect from the squad.

Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer is fully aware of the pandemonium that Bayern can generate on the pitch. However, Bayer is a squad that is not blind to the quality and strength of their team. And they will certainly use it to outlast the host.

Bayer is one of the thorns that have been keeping life difficult for the Bavarian. In their previous matches, there are instances where they were able to pull off a draw—some even witnessed them snatched the three (3) points and humiliate the Bundesliga giant. There’s no doubt that they shall draw inspiration from those matches. And with their massive thrashing of FC Cologne, Bayer’s morale boost will definitely do the trick in Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munchen - Week 14

VfB Stuttgart vs. Schalke 04

Match Date: 06 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Mercedes-Benz Arena

VfB Stuttgart

Is Stuttgart really back to its winning ways? Such question continues to permeate within the Mercedes Benz-Arena when the club snatched a win against Freiburg and ended their 3-match losing streak.

Prior to the said win, the club has transformed into a relegation favorite next season. Hapless and destroyed, the unfortunate scenario compelled its previous head honcho, Armin Veh to leave his post. And with no one to lead, Huub Stevens suddenly found himself back in Stuttgart’s camp. His presence automatically made the difference, or perhaps such difference could also materialize under Veh’s management, if he only had more time.

But currently, there’s no room for second chances. Veh’s resignation was the best thing to do during that moment. And with Steven’s arrival, exposing the players to new strategies and techniques definitely generated  a motivating feeling—a sense of accomplishment that sooner or later, they will be able to get out of the bottom three (3).

Schalke 04

The Royal Blues is in the verge of reclaiming its royal status in the top-flight league after snatching important wins in its last six (6) matches. Its most recent one was a 4-1 thrashing of an aggressive Mainz 05. One of the players, who readily stood out in the clash was the talismanic Dutch international, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. The young player netted a hat-trick, which seems to be a viral trend within the footballing world ever since Lionel Messi became the king of La Liga.

Schalke is the outright favorite in the upcoming clash. Yet, with Stuttgart’s renewed confidence, the Royal Blues could be facing a great danger.
