2014-2015 Bundesliga Predictions: Week 11 (Part 4)

Wolfsburg- Week 11

Bayer Leverkusen vs. Mainz 05

Match Date: 08 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Bay Arena

Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer just got a taste of its 2nd loss this season in the hands of a determined Hamburg.

Apparently, the club was unable to maintain its 5-match unbeaten run and soon stumbled. On a closer look, it seemed that the club’s loss was partially expected. Bayer may have been undefeated in its last 5 matches, prior to the Hamburger face-off, but  majority of those clashes ended in an even steven finish. The defeat was rather predictable, considering the (slow decline) that the club has been suffering.

Mainz 05

Like Bayer, the football betting favorite, Mainz was also frustrated with the result of its match against Werder Bremen. The latter snatched a narrow win, which pushed them to the mid-table of Germany’s top-flight league. It was also the team’s 2nd consecutive loss in its last six (6) matches.

Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 Mainz 05

Werder Bremen vs. VfB Stuttgart

Match Date: 08 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Weser Stadion

Werder Bremen

After a long wait, Werder Bremen has finally clinched its first win this season. Franco Di Santo led the attack against Mainz 05 and scored all the goals that Werder generated.

However, despite the said win, the team remains at the rock bottom part of the table. Nevertheless, they will probably use such victory to inspire them in featuring at home.

VfB Stuttgart

Stutggart’s morale is currently at its lowest after suffering a heavy thrashing from Wolfsburg. The team conceded four (4) goals, but failed to respond. Not even a wonder goal was seen from the club. Due to this, VfB Stuttgart fell into the 15th spot of the table—just a notch away from the relegation zone.

Werder Bremen 1-2 VfB Stuttgart

Wolfsburg- Week 11

Wolfsburg vs. Hamburger SV

Match Date: 09 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Volkswagen Arena

Jumping into the 2nd spot of the Bundesliga table, expect Wolfsburg to continue its winning sreak. Just recently, it subjected Suttgart to a massive thrashing, which resulted to a 4-0 victory.

Hamburger SV

Hamburger is also flying high with confidence after outlasting Bayer. With the said victory, the club has managed to veer away from the relegation zone and hopefully, move higher in the Bundesliga ranking.
