Hertha BSC’s last five matches produced two wins and three defeats, the latter including one from DFB Pokal. They rank 13th in Bundesliga, which means that they need to notch up their tactical skills and improve their strategies in order to rake more wins and avoid relegation.

Bayern Munich, meanwhile, have failed to extend their unbeaten streak to a 19th consecutive match after they lost three points to Manchester City—and the latter only needed one player to carry out the feat. Although Xabi Alonso and Robert Lewandowski each scored a goal, they were not able to top out Sergio Aguero’s hat-trick, which he delivered in the 21st and 85th minutes as well as in extra time. Domestically, however, Guardiola’s men are still the most dangerous club to fight against.

Football betting tip: After their UCL loss, Bayern Munich will pull back a victory off against Hertha Berlin.

Werder Bremen vs. Paderborn

Match Date: 29 November 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Weser-Stadion

Both positioned in the league table’s lower half, Werder Bremen and Paderborn need to up their game in order to avoid relegation. Inconsistency is a major culprit to both sides’ journey in the competition, although this problem is more pronounced for the home squad. Bremen have already hit rock bottom a few times in the tournament. In fact, they are currently placed just one spot above the last slot. Paderborn, meanwhile, were once the leaders of Bundesliga but have since been declining week after week. They are presently marooned in the 10th spot, with just enough points and goals to keep them relatively safe against a disastrous plummet.

Sports betting tip: Paderborn will bag all three points at the expense of Werder Bremen.
