Schalke and Mainz are only one point apart, with the former scoring 17 points from 12 matches while the latter have 16. They ranked seventh and ninth in the league table, respectively and are among the contenders for [at least] a Europa League berth next season.

Die Königsblauen’s latest performance in Bundesliga was a complete stunner, having won against Wolfsburg in a thrilling encounter at Veltins. Choupo-Moting scored two consecutive goals in the match, placing the score at 2-0 as early as the 22nd minute. Christian Fuchs would later triple the lead with his goal in the 25th minute. The side looked to be winning the entire brawl in a clean sheet, but Wolfsburg fired back two goals and finished the tourney at 3-2. Meanwhile, Die Nullfünfer scored a second consecutive draw from their battle against Freiburg. But unlike their goalless encounter with Leverkusen the previous week, their latest bout in Bundesliga gave them two goals: an opener from Diaz and a late equalizer from Bell.

Football betting tip: Schalke and Mainz will share the spoils.

Augsburg vs. Hamburg SV

Match Date: 29 November 2014 (local)

Match Venue: SGL Arena

Augsburg and Hamburg have both won their respective matches in the most recent week of Bundesliga. However, form-wise, the two have stark differences. Ten spots apart, the sides MAY go separate ways next season: Augsburg remaining in the top-flight league, while Hamburg probably exiting down to the second-tier division. The odds may change anytime, however.

Augsburg are placed sixth in the league table, having won six times and defeated six times as well. They netted a total of 15 goals throughout the first 12 weeks of the competition, But also conceded 12 goals in the same period to give them a goal difference of =3. Hamburg, meanwhile, have only managed to win three times since the season kicked off. They also obtained three draws and succumbed to their rivals six times. They are only two spots away from the drop zone and are plagued by a goal difference of -8.

Sports betting tip: Augsburg will thrash Hamburg in a clean sheet.
