“Kick It Out” Campaign Faces Snub from Players

THE LATEST SPORTS NEWS – Kick It Out, an annual soccer agent campaign against racism in the game, is facing possible boycotts from some players in the Premier League.

Jason Roberts, a striker for Reading, expressed his intent not to wear a Kick It Out t-shirt, saying that he will do so to protest against the group’s inaction towards rampant racism in football. He noted that other players are planning to boycott as well.

Chelsea’s John Terry and Liverpool’s Luis Suarez were both punished by the FA after finding that they have played past through rival sides racially abusing players Anton Ferdinand of Queens Park Rangers (Terry) and Patrice Evra of Manchester United (Suarez).
