2014-2015 Premier League Predictions: Week 22 (Part 5)

West Brom - Week 22

Manchester City vs. Arsenal

Match Date: 18 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Etihad Stadium

The story so far

Winning is the only option that the sports betting favorite, Manchester City has when they face a resilient Arsenal. Securing the three points enables them to topple the current league leader, Chelsea. Generating more confidence for City is the entry of Wilfried Bony. Bony currently tops the scoreboard and his presence will be highly beneficial after the club lost Alvaro Negredo to Valencia last summer.

Despite the positive and confident atmosphere, which surrounds City’s camp, this does not give them the privilege to relax. Like them, Arsenal is also eager to snatch some points as it will determine their Champions League qualification for the next season.

The Gunners have been on a roller coaster ride, but a determined Alexis Sanchez is never tired of giving the club the needed inspiration to return to their winning ways.

There is a high possibility for the match to end in an even steven finish.

Manchester City 1-1 Arsenal

West Brom - Week 22

Everton vs. West Bromwich Albion

Match Date: 19 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Goodison Park

The story so far

Everton has recently ended its 5-match winless run via forcing Manchester City to settle for a stalemate. Securing a point wasn’t really impressive, but considering the fact that they were up against a strong squad, was something that cannot be ignored. The Toffees currently occupies the 12th spot of the league table and is hopeful that it can bounce back to the top 10.

However, West Bromwich Albion may spoil Everton’s noble intentions. Now managed by the 2014 Premier League Manager of the Year, Tony Pulis, one can expect major improvements from the squad. Pulis once saved Crystal Palace from being relegated and he is expected to tweak West Brom’s current form.

Expect the Baggies to give Everton a difficult time in the upcoming match.
