2014-2015 Premier League Predictions: Week 18 (Part 2)

Tottenham- Week 18

Leicester vs. Tottenham

Match Date: 26 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: King Power Stadium

Leicester’s dominance against the online betting  favorite, Tottenham, may no longer work in their upcoming match. It is evident that the visitor has the upper-hand in the clash. The win against Burnley helped them have a strong grip in the 7th spot of the table and evidently, this is something that Leicester will find difficult.

On a closer look, it doesn’t need a genius to see that the host struggles in the rock bottom part of the table. The club is on a losing streak and strives via draw. So far Leicester has only won twice since the season started—and with their poor form, the club will continue to experience a winning drought.

Leicester 1-3 Tottenham

Tottenham- Week 18

Manchester United vs. Newcastle United

Match Date: 26 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Old Trafford

From a struggling mid-table squad, there’s no doubt that Manchester United is back to its winning ways. The consistent favorite of  sports betting sites remains unbeaten in its last 6 matches. Although Aston Villa forced them to settle for a draw, this barely affected their aim to be in the Premier League elite.

As for Newcastle United, travelling to Old Trafford is indeed, a great challenge to the whole squad. Just recently, an (unexpected) loss to Sunderland readily destroyed their morale and confidence. Newcastle just hopes that they could pull off a  victory in this match.
