2014-2015 Premier League Predictions: Week 17 (Part 3)

Southampton - Week 17

Southampton vs. Everton

Match Date: 20 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: St. Mary’s Stadium

Down to its 4th consecutive loss, Southampton continues to suffer a steady decline. After lingering in the top 3, the club soon fell into the 5th spot of the league table. Suddenly, all of its spectacular performances dwindled. The excitement felt was readily replaced by disappointments and frustrations. This is most especially true when they bowed down to the newly promoted and struggling, Burnley.

At present, it is a bit hard to look at Southampton as the match’s online bettingfavorite. They need to regroup and prepare for their visitor, Everton.

Everton is not just a mere pushover. This is despite the fact that their current performance is not as effective as before. Indeed, they also need to improve, but certainly, they can snatch a shocking win that could readily upset its opponents.

Southampton 1-1 Everton

Southampton - Week 17

Queen Park Rangers vs. West Bromwich Albion

Match Date: 21 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Loftus Road

West Brom responded well to its 4-match winless streak. Improvements are evident with the way they held Hull to a scoreless stalemate and just recently, win over Aston Villa. These success stories could readily inspire them when they visit Loftus Road, which, seems to promise a difficult match.

West Brom isn’t really a relegation candidate compared to Queen Park Rangers. They’re actually the top pick of sports betting sites. However, they’ll be playing in a different territory and their opponent could readily use it against them. The squad (West Brom) should be careful or one of those “stunning and unexpected” victories snatched by league minnows might victimize them.

Queen Park Rangers 1-2 West Bromwich Albion
