2014-2015 English Premier League Previews: Week 10 (Part 4)

Aston Villa vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Match Date: 02 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Villa Park

Aston Villa

There was enough reason for Aston Villa’s Paul Lambert to be furious in his squad’s most recent performance.

The Villans stumbled into the hands of the online betting minnow, Queen Park Rangers (QPR), thus, earning its 5th consecutive loss. Aston Villa had an impressive start this season, nailing three (3) crucial wins that witnessed them linger on the top part of the league table.

Unfortunately, the squad slowly retrogressed and dropped in the Premier League ranking—an act that is so typical and (expected) from Aston Villa.

Tottenham Hotspur

An air of disappointment lingers within Tottenham’s camp as the club succumbed to its 2nd consecutive loss. Although they elicit an advantage over the host, its inability to recover from Manchester City’s thrashing cast doubts over its possibility of winning.

Expect a down the wire match between the two teams and the probability of witnessing an even steven finish.

Aston Villa 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Crystal Palace vs. Sunderland

Match Date: 03 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace

It looks like last season’s stunner is slowly fading out of the limelight. Crystal Palace, the squad, which started poorly, but finished strong is again at the brink of entering the relegation zone. The squad was recently contained in a 2-2 stalemate against West Bromwich Albion, which resulted in their apparent drop in the league table.

Since the season started, the Eagles have only won twice and thrive only through draws.

Gus Poyet is determined to drop his current goalkeeper Vito Mannone for his lackluster performances in his last two (2) matches. Mannone has already conceded eight (8) goals during the Southampton clash and just recently, allowed, another two (2) goals for Arsenal.

Overall, the keeper has already dropped ten (10) goals in its last two (2) appearances and this has been causing troubles for the Black Cats.
