Both ranked in the bottom five of the current league standings, Cordoba and Real Sociedad are in so much danger of ending the year as among the tournament’s minnows. Cordoba are presently at the rock bottom with zero wins scored in eight matches, while Sociedad are in the 16th spot with only one win, but with two draws and five defeats.

While the hosts are effective in terms of creating scoring chances and in executing stunts in the air, they lack the correct formula to convert all their opportunities and keep possession of the ball. They also fail in defending set pieces as well as frequent in committing errors. Sociedad, meanwhile, boast of some degree of resiliency and are able to attack set pieces at an acceptable degree of efficiency. However, they are very poor at defending against attacks down the wings and are barely making efforts to avoid offside.

Football betting tip: Real Sociedad will narrowly win against Cordoba.

Eibar vs. Granada

Match Date: 26 October 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Municipal de IpurĂșa

Eibar and Granada have been winless in the past four weeks of the Spanish top-tier league, but the case is much worse for the visitors as they have not been able to seize at least one goal from those matches. Eibar, in comparison, have ended most of their recent streaks in stalemates.

The squads are both ranked in the bottom half of the league table: Eibar in the 12th spot and Granada in the 14th. The hosts’ current position is their second worse since their stint at number 14 on the third week of fixtures. Granada, meanwhile, have progressively dwindled in the standings: they were part of the top six in the first four weeks of La Liga but since incurring defeats in the past few weeks, they have not been able to go back to the top half.

Sports betting tip: Eibar will bag the lead against Granada.
