Winning only one match and dropping 17 points from just six matches, Chievo inevitably made a horrendous stint in the new season of Seria A. They are currently positioned in the relegation zone and a dramatic ascent in the coming weeks sounds improbable. Genoa, meanwhile, rank in the top half of the league, boasting of two wins, three draws, and only two losses. In addition, they are unbeaten in two consecutive weeks.

Gialloblu must redefine their vision and have to step up their tactical plans in order to score more wins in the future. Their abilities to create chances and steal the ball from the opposition are more than satisfactory, but a growing problem in the offside, possession, and defense are pulling them down from making any progress. Rossoblu, by comparison, keep excellent stunts at counter-attacking as well as in creating chances through individual skills. Possession is an issue, however, and this might be the reason that they currently post a zero goal difference.

Sports betting tip: Chievo will succumb to Genoa.

Juventus vs. Palermo

Match Date: 26 October 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Juventus Stadium

The current front-runners and the defending champions, juventus remain as the strongest side of the Italian top-tier football. Although they debuted in the competition only at number six, they performed extremely well in their subsequent battles. Not including their losses in the UEFA Champions League, they are undefeated in 17 matches.

Inconsistency is the major dilemma for Palermo, and with an opposition as massive as Juventus, a disaster is very likely. The side are only two points clear of the drop zone and they currently hold the second (tied with Chievo) worst goal difference in the competition at -7. Fortunately, they pulled off a victory against Cesena form their most recent Serie A fixture, breaking their winless streak which they have been suffering since opening day.

Online betting tip: Juventus will keep a clean slate by scoring all the goals in this match against Palermo.
