2014-2015 Premier League Predictions: Week 14 (Part 5)

Chelsea vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Match Date: 03 December 2014 (local time)
Venue: Stamford Bridge
Â
Chelsea
Despite its apparent strength, the almighty Chelsea had to be content with a scoreless stalemate against Sunderland. Fortunately, the said result has very little significance when it comes to the club’s form and title campaign.
They may have lost the two (2) points, but this doesn’t erase the fact that they remain unbeaten since the season started and still maintains a comfortable 6-points lead against its strongest title contender, the sports betting favorite, Manchester City.
Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham is aware of Chelsea’s strength on the pitch, but they’ll not allow them to intimidate them during the match. The club will draw inspiration from its comeback win against Everton and will probably exploit Diego Costa’s absence. The latter got his 2nd booking during the Sunderland clash and will be sidelined in Chelsea’s next battle.
Prediction
Chelsea 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur
Sunderland vs. Manchester City
Match Date: 03 December 2014 (local time
Venue: Goodison Park
Â
Sunderland
The Black Cats did show to Chelsea that they cause (bad luck) after forcing a scoreless stalemate in their encounter. It was the 2nd time that the squad has readily disappointed the Premier League elite. Last season, they were the ones, which destroyed Chelsea’s hopes of clinching the title after securing a win over them.
Manchester City
True enough, Manchester City is back to its winning ways. Its 3-goal thrashing of Southampton presents a clear danger to those who want to get into their way as a replication of the said event will most likely occur again.
Prediction
Sunderland 2-1 Manchester City
